Golden Paws Dog Grooming Academy is located in the lovely city of Marinette , WI. The city is situated on the bay of Green Bay , bordered on the north of the Menominee River , and graced by captivating Stephenson Island , which is accessible by car and footbridge. Visitors and residents alike enjoy Marinette's natural treasures, its scenic parks and well-planned recreational opportunities, with boating, snowmobiling, ice skating, tennis, golf and shopping.
The school is located in the heart of downtown Marinette and has built a clientele of over 5,000 with many diversified breeds. The facility is modern, well equipped, clean and professional. The library area is a comfortable place to study and view the Golden Paws Instructional videos. The grooming room is for the practical application and where you will develop your skills. The bathing and drying area is where you will learn how to accomplish perfectly bathed, dried and finished brushed pets. There is a lunch area for your convenience.
The school has 4 hydraulic grooming tables, 2 stationary grooming tables, a Clipper Vac, 2 bathing tubs professionally designed for the pet field, 2 professional wash and massage systems, 9 professional dryers all designed for a specific use. Hand dryers are at each station. Various tools are available for student's education. Electric nail grinder, flea combs, undercoat rakes, shedding blades. Ear plugs and painters mask are part of student tool kit. Goggles are available at school for use in the bathing & drying area. Professional products are also available for students use. All equipment, books, videos, tools and products are the property of Golden Paws Dog Grooming Academy.
Housing
There are several hotels and weekly rate suites with kitchens available in a wide price range. Some overlook the river and or are close to the school and shopping.
The school has a beautiful spacious modern camper with a full kitchen, corian counters, large bathroom, leather sofas and master suite. The campground is beautiful, on the river, has picnic tables and B.B.Q. pits. The site takes pets and is within walking distance to the school.
